Simple online invoicing

Online invoicing only earns the name if it actually behaves differently from a desktop tool with a login screen bolted on. Lemon Invoice runs entirely in the browser: there's nothing to install, nothing tied to one machine, and no local file that only exists on the laptop that created it. That matters most in the middle of a working day that doesn't happen at a desk. Quote a client from your phone between meetings, then finish the invoice later from a laptop, and neither device holds a version the other doesn't have. It's the same record, updated wherever you last touched it. Log out of one device and log into another, and the client list, the numbering sequence, and any invoice you were halfway through are exactly where you left them, with nothing to re-save or re-sync by hand. Every invoice still goes out with automatic, sequential numbering and your own branding on the PDF, whether it's sent from a browser tab at home or one on a borrowed computer at a client's office.

Payment tracking works the same way: mark an invoice paid, partially paid, or overdue, and the dashboard reflects it immediately, on the device you're using and every other one you log into afterward. If you bill clients in more than one currency, each invoice goes out in the currency your client actually pays in, while your reports still consolidate everything back into your home currency, no separate spreadsheet needed to make sense of a mixed-currency month, whichever device you happen to be checking it from. VAT works the same way online as anywhere else: set a rate per line item, and the net, VAT, and gross totals appear correctly on the PDF without you doing the arithmetic.

None of this depends on remembering to back anything up yourself.
